Casa Pepa - Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada is a sunny slice of paradise! Ciudad Quesada is an unusual town because it didn’t exist until the early 1970’s when a Spanish entrepreneur called Justo Quesada Samper decided to start his own town. The urbanisation grew and finally it was accepted as a real Spanish town.

Nestled on the sunny Costa Blanca, Ciudad Quesada is a vibrant and welcoming destination where relaxation, adventure, and Spanish charm blend perfectly! Just 10 minutes from the stunning beaches of Guardamar del Segura and 30 minutes from Alicante Airport, this lively town is a top spot for holidaymakers and expats alike.

A Town with Character Ciudad Quesada was purpose-built for enjoyment, and it shows! The town is packed with cozy cafés, fantastic restaurants, and a buzzing social scene. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a fun-filled adventure, there’s something here for everyone.

Beaches & Nature Though Ciudad Quesada itself isn’t on the coast, you’re just a short drive from some of Spain’s best beaches. The soft sands and turquoise waters of Guardamar and Torrevieja are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or trying out some watersports. Meanwhile, the Laguna de La Mata Natural Park—famous for its pink salt lakes—offers stunning walking trails and a chance to see flamingos in their natural habitat!

Golf & Sports Golf lovers, rejoice! La Marquesa Golf Club is a golfer’s dream, with beautiful fairways and mountain views. Not into golf? No problem! Try cycling, tennis, or even go-karting at the local track for an adrenaline rush.

Dining & Nightlife From traditional Spanish tapas to international cuisine, Ciudad Quesada has a food scene that caters to all tastes. Enjoy a leisurely paella by the lake, grab a burger at a British pub, or sip cocktails at a lively rooftop bar while watching the sunset. The nightlife is fun yet laid-back, perfect for relaxed evenings with live music and good company.

Shopping & Markets Love a bit of retail therapy? The town has supermarkets, boutiques, and weekly markets where you can pick up fresh local produce, handmade crafts, and unique souvenirs. For a bigger shopping spree, the nearby Habaneras Shopping Center and Zenia Boulevard offer everything from fashion to electronics. The neighbouring typically spanish town of Rojales is also a few minutes away, every first sunday of the month you can visit the Cuevas del Rodeo (Caves of Rodeo) typical cave houses, which includes a craft fair and live music.

Family-Friendly Fun Ciudad Quesada is great for families, with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The AquaPark Quesada is a hit with kids (and fun-loving adults!), while nearby theme parks like Terra Mítica and Rio Safari Elche promise unforgettable days out.

Perfect Base for Exploring With its central location, Ciudad Quesada is an ideal base for exploring the region. Discover the historic charm of Alicante, visit the colorful streets of Villajoyosa, or take a day trip to the island of Tabarca for some snorkeling and seafood feasting.

With its fantastic weather, friendly atmosphere, and endless activities, Ciudad Quesada is a must-visit destination for sun-seekers, golf enthusiasts, and adventure lovers alike. Whether you're here for a short getaway or a long stay, you’ll quickly see why so many people fall in love with this Spanish gem
